PreNatal Sonogram
32 4/7 weeks

Today I saw Jodi for my sonogram. She said everything looked great and that Lili was measuring exactly what she's supposed to at this time. She said as far as she could tell she weighs about 4 pounds 7 ounces and would weigh about 8 pounds by the end of January.

PreNatal Doctor Visit
32 3/7 weeks
Today I saw Dr. Olt. She said everything looked fine. I had some spotting over the weekend, so she wants me to come in tomorrow to see Jodi for a sonogram, just to make sure. Your heartbeat was 159 beats per minute. Nice and strong.

PreNatal Doctor Visit
30 3/7 weeks
Dr. Olt listened to your heartbeat...it was 147 beats per minute. She said everything seemed to be moving along just fine. How exciting, we'll be meeting you so soon now! Not even 2 full months away! There's so much to do to get ready for your arrival.

PreNatal Doctor Visit

I had a doctor visit today with Dr. Olt. Your heartbeat was 143 beats per minute. She said everything measured where it should and things were going well. After next visit I start seeing her every other week - things are moving along quickly!

PreNatal Sonogram & Doctor Visit
23 4/7 weeks
Today we went in to see Jody again for another sonogram. This time she was able to see your heart clearly. She said you're about 12 inches long and a little over a pound right now. My how you've grown over the months...time is flying by!
After our sonogram, I had an appointment with Dr. Olt. She measured me and listened to your heartbeat. It was 158 beats per minute. She said everything was measuring right on target for our due date. I also had my 1 hour glucose test...yuck! Everything came back fine on it though, thankfully! Today we set the date for your birth - the c-section will be done on January 31, 2006 at 8:00am. How exciting to know exactly when we're going to get to finally meet you!

Daddy Felt You Kick
21 2/7 weeks
Daddy was finally able to feel you kick today. It's still hard for him to catch it when you're moving enough, but I ate a lot of sugar, so you were moving all day! Lately I've been able to feel you move around all day long, you're going to be a very active child!

PreNatal Doctor & Sono Visit
19 5/7 weeks
Today I had an appointment with Jody, the sonographer at Dr. Olt's office. Both of your Grandmas and your big sister, Bella came because your Daddy couldn't get off of work. We got to see your little hands, feet, spine, legs, and you moving around everywhere. She also told us that you're a girl. After the sono, I saw Dr. Olt. She said everything looked fine and that your heart beat was 142 beats/minute. I will also be having a sonogram at my next appointment because Jody was unable to get a good picture of your heart. Hopefully we'll get to see some more good pictures of you at that visit.

I had a doctor visit today with Dr. Olt (the sono picture above is from next month's visit). She listened to your heartbeat...it was 153 beats per minute. She said everything seemed to be moving along just fine and that next month we'd be able to have our second sonogram to see if you're a boy or a girl! How exciting!

PreNatal Doctor Visit
12 weeks
I saw Dr. Olt today. She listened to your heartbeat...it was still 170 beats/minute. She said it sounded good and strong. No need to come back for another month. The morning sickness/nausea seems to be going away. I'm still a little tired, but nothing that I can't handle. I can't wait to start feeling you kick and move around.

First Sonogram
9 4/7 weeks
Today I went in for my first sonogram. Right now, you look like a little blob. Jody measured you and said by your measurements she'd say you'll be due a week later than the date that Mary gave me at my NewOB visit...we'll see later on in the pregnancy. Otherwise, she said everything looked great. Your heartbeat was 170/minute. Nice and strong. (The sonogram picture is of your heartbeat.) I'm still very nauseated throughout the entire day, but I haven't gotten sick. I'm also tired, but seem to be able to get through most days without a nap...although it's nice when I can get one.

First PreNatal Visit
7 6/7 weeks
Today was New OB Nurse Visit. Not really sure why I needed it, other than to get my blood work ordered and my pre-natal vitamin samples, but oh well. She gave me an approximate due date - we will be meeting our second child around February 11, 2006...an early Valentine's Day gift. The only changes I'm noticing so far is that I'm very tired and a little nausea throughout the day. I've not gotten sick so far, so that's a good thing!

God is Amazing!
7 3/7 weeks
This morning I went to Pekin Hospital to have some blood work done, a Quant Beta HCG and a Progesterone Level. Dr. Olt's nurse told me to call after 2:00 this afternoon for the results. I called around 3:00 and they hadn't received them yet and she said she'd call me when she had them...4:00 nothing, 4:30, nothing...so I called them at 4:45. They were closed! Nothing major, irritating, but no big deal. So I called mom to talk for awhile. at 5:00 my other line rang, it was Dr. Olt's nurse and the pregnancy test came back POSITIVE!!! I was so excited, and in tears! I clicked back over to mom's line and made an excuse to get off the phone so I could call Mike at work and tell him first. He was very excited. Then I promptly called my mom back and told her. We made several calls this evening to tell everyone our good news...so, it seems that we'll be meeting the newest member our our family (Grandpa Tom has predicted it's a boy) sometime in February of 2006...what a great, late birthday present...well worth waiting for!

The Begining...
Today begins the first day of us trying to have another child. I'm not looking forward to the medications and the way they make me moody, but if it's what we have to do, then so be it. I pray that it won't take too long this time around and that God would help me to keep my moods under control. I know that everything will work out in God's timing, so I won't get my hopes up too high. I will wait on his perfect timing, and if it happens to be this month, all the better. So...let the journey begin!
